This pattern shows you how to knit and assemble a giant pouf, made of soft cotton rope, plus where to get the materials and how to dye the rope any color. There are also instructions for making two smaller versions.

You can stuff your pouf with just about anything. There are instructions for making a foam stuffing that is best if you plan to sit on the pouf.

Size: The giant pouf is approximately 24 inches in diameter and 18 inches tall. The smaller ones are 20x15 inches and 18x14 inches.

The pattern comes as a PDF file, which should become available to download as soon as your payment clears. This is not the actual knit pouf! If you are interested in purchasing a finished knit pouf, please contact me for a custom order.

Difficulty: Easy. The pattern uses a basic garter stitch. And because the rope is so thick, you only need a few stitches per row. There is some assembly required to stuff the pouf.

Cost: The cotton piping cord required to knit a giant pouf costs around $100. For the smaller sizes it's more like $65-$70. The size 36 circular knitting needle can cost anywhere from $10-$30. Of course you can always use the pattern as a starting point and substitute your own materials.
