Difficulty: Easy. Each pattern uses a basic garter stitch. And because the rope is so thick, you only need a few stitches per row!
Cost: The cotton piping cord costs around $35 per 100-yard box. The size 50 or 36 circular knitting needle can cost anywhere from $10-$25. For smaller baskets you can use a size 50 or 35 straight set, which you can get for less than $10. Of course you can always use the patterns as a starting point and substitute your own materials.
